It was Dasshera of 2010 and there was Datta Yag third year and first day of the Yagnaya. I was sitting in the prayer hall with maharaj ji. Maharaj was sitting in his usual posture humming some tune and I saw suddenly a little curiosity or some gesture wherein he wanted to get up but again sat down and sudden stillness as if he is concentrating on something. In a few Minutes three sadhus walked in to the hall room along with their devotees. Maharaj gave a broad smile to the sadhus. One of them was a regular visitor to the ashram he said that the other two sadhus had come down from Mount Aboo and Junagadh and were planning to return so I requested them that there is a mahatma’s ashram known as Gagananand Maharaj in Manori Malad why don’t you accompany me to take his darshan and then proceed on your further journey and they obliged. Baba said he is happy to receive them and gave a broad smile again I could sense the divine vibrations and a different make up of that hall which is difficult to express in words not knowing what it was at that point in time. Baba asked me to arrange three chairs for them and asked me to put garlands, tilak, shawl and shreephal with dakshina. The entire atmosphere was charged with blissful divine vibes. It was about time to leave for the sadhus and maharaj told me to give them Prasad and not let them go without having prasad as our yagnya was not complete and Naivedya was not offered so I arranged for Khadi sakhaar( bigger cubes of sugar) along with elaichi. As they were about to prostrate in front of baba. Baba got up from his asana and embraced them one by one and came to the hall entrance to see them off. Again after some time in the Hall room baba was very jubilant and told me that you have roamed the world but you wouldn’t have got an opportunity by roaming the world like you have got today…”SAKSHAAT TRIDEV YEON DARSHAN DEOON GELE” That the Holy trinity just came to the ashram and gave you darshan this is the fruit of being in a company of a saint and doing service. The divine flames enter the material body to take darshan, just one has to have divine vision to see it. I am very honoured, blessed to be in the company of Sadhguru and service of his ashrams.

I had the great pleasure to witness the development of this ashram since shivratri 1981 during my annual visits to Bombay (Mumbai). At the same time I saw the growth of so many regular visitors. And I experienced the transformations of bare cliffs and sand in to a wonderful garden with the cleanest and freshest air in Bombay, a peaceful sanctuary indeed, where there is peace, space and a spiritual atmosphere. What Maharaj has achieved here is even more remarkable when we look at the changes the rest of Bombay has seen for the past three decades. The city has turned in to a man-eating demon of monstrous dimensions, producing filth, noise and intense human suffering. This ashram is a place where people can find themselves and realise their true nature. I hope that more and more people will realise this and take the chance to change their lives under the enlightened guidance of Sri Gagananand Maharaj ji. I would like to offer my respectful pranam and deep thanks for all the wonderful help and hospitality I have experienced here.

Being here, praying in the temple and walking around the gardens we felt a deep sense of quietness and peace, there is something very special about this place. GOD lives over here. We feel deeply honoured that maharajji has given us his blessings. Thank you for our gifts. They are very meaningful to us It is a beautiful way for David and me to start our married life together
